Art dealer Kenny Schachter commissioned Hadid to create an original concept car. That resulting in Z.Car Project which you can see it at the Guggenheim Museum in New York soon. With 4 meters long, I think Z.Car is still in acceptable scale, and the good thing is the ergonomic and modern design makes it great city car, easy to park and environmentally friendly (renewable fuel cells). This is one possible future car that we might see in a few years.

Rinspeed, swiss design company once again unveiled its eccentric concepts : sQuba, an underwater car. They unveiled its project today and will display it at the 2008 Geneva Motor Show. The concept of sQuba is an amphibious car, you can drive it on the road or underwater, it can be submerged up to 10 meters below the surface, according to Rinspeed.

Finally, Pinifarina Sintesi is fully revealed and gong to on display at Geneva Motor Show 2008. Sintesi concept car is a four door vehicle with an advanced fuel cell power source. The Sintesi (means ‘synthesis’ in Italian) which describe the attributes of the concept. The beauty, sportiness and functionality combine into one. Pinifarina designed Sintesi to predict the future of car design, stylist, comfort, practicality, and power.

This convertible car designed by Italian IED (Istituto Europeo di Design) and inspired by the Fiat 124 Sport Spider from the 1970s. Webasto LigHT concept features lightweight soft top concept which made from new material mix and weight of just 13 kg. Under the motto ?The roof of the future?, the potential designers had the opportunity to unleash their fantasy and develop studies beyond the classic convertible body styles. Webasto will display LigHT concept car at Geneva Motor Show 2008.

Finally, lighting car company has released the first UK’s electric sportscar, the Ligtning GT. The focus point of this sportscar is not the top speed, but rather its electric power that will deliver 700+ HP from its wheel-mounted electric motors charged by just your home electric plugs. There is no price tag yet, hopefully we can see this car in a realistic version instead of just rendering. With virtually no polluting emissions, this energy-efficient car uses clean technology and will have the ultimate green rating.
Name me one person who would not feel in the seventh heaven if, people on the road not only give a second look to the car that he is driving but keep staring it with admiration? Not one. Right? We all love to be distinguished among others and the only easiest way to do so is to own a Ferrari Concept 2008 car.
The Ferrari Concept 2008 car is designed by Luca Serafini, the author of Lamborghini Embolado Project; the Ferrari concept 2008 is a proposal for a future replacement of the V8-powered F430 model. It has a combination of the current Ferrari like the circular single taillights with stylish cues, and the muscular silhouette and also not to forget the front grille.
With the help of the modern shapes the main goal is to correspond The True Ferrari Mood. The single grille in the front reminds us of the legendary Ferrari racing cars like the 1956 Testarossa and the 1962 GTO. And the L shaped headlights gives a touch of modernity.. The side mirrors mounted on the A pillar and the side window contours are an additional design elements to this beauty as both have the memoirs of the 1984 Testarossa.
So, get ready to hit the road with this traditional modern Ferrari!

Slide is a city car for one individual, in which you dont sit but stand. The low cross-section in this case should be effective against the parking situations of tomorrow. Unnecessary empty rides of one individual in a car with two or four seats, especially in the city, belong to the past. Through an open design and the upright position during the ride, the user is able to communicate with the other participants of traffic in a spaecial way. They are in an equal position of eye height with pedestrians and cyclists. The drive of Slide works about the clean electrical engine technology. New, lightweight and innovative materials, like Maylar plastic film and Carbon fibre, for motorcars stands in a balance to the new drive technology.

So, the new concept should bring near to the user the new, clean drive technology, through design and drive behavior. With Slide a new concept for a smart car was developed, in which the union of environmental aware, social responsibility and fun character was the important view.

The car is designed in a stable triangle shape to give it plenty of design and a lot of space as well. It has a solar roof enabling energy of the sun to be capture and transformed to run its electrical engine. The car is not only a zero-emission vehicle but even the power for its electric engine is from alternate sources making it truly and completely eco-friendly. While the car can tango on its pretty awesome suspension, it amalgamates the features of ergonomic design with clean power to deliver big time.

MoVille is a compact single passenger vehicle with artificial intelligence and zero-emission drive train. Once you look at this vehicle, you will feel that you have entered into Robot world. There are three magnetic wheels which are rotated with the help of electro magnets. For saving space in urban areas, MoVille can tilt up and down. It features wireless road network in order to connect to other vehicles and road network. With this feature, it can judge where it is located on the road and where other vehicles are. MoVille is also fully equipped with immediacy sensors, cameras, and GPS. Small size and Omni-directional wheels enable anyone to park it easily.
Text from the designer :
MoVille consists of a single passenger capsule over an electric drive train. Three magnetic ball wheels are rotated without frictionless through electromagnets. Passenger capsule is shaped in an aerodynamic teardrop shape for maximum efficiency. It also tilts up and down for saving space in urban streets and become more aerodynamic on highways.
MoVille’s compact size takes up less space in dense urban cities. Because it has a sliding window door, it is easy to get in and out of in tight spaces. The passenger capsule tilts vertically to save space on the road and pivots for getting in and out.
MoVille has an artificial intelligence which allows it to act more like a robot than a car. MoVille recognizes its owner and opens its doors when you approach it. MoVille can drive itself allowing the passenger to save time.
MoVille has an electric drive train that uses electromagnets to rotate the ball wheels. Because there is no mechanical transmission and internal combustion engine, it is more efficient, and more reliable. MoVille’s compact body is built out of unpainted biodegradable plastic.
