Ducati Bikes in India: Ducati to Ride on Indian Superbike Market

Italian Bikes manufacturer Ducati has opened its 2nd showroom in Gurgaon, India. After opening of Ducati Mumbai Showroom they are looking to strengthening their position in Indian Market.

Ducati Bikes IndiaOn the list of Ducati Bikes will be the 1098 Superbike, 848 Superbike, the Streetfighter, the SportClassic, the Monster and the Hypermotard. This Ducati Bikes will cost around 10-15 Lakh in India.

As the sportsbike market is on the growing road thats why Yamaha, Honda, Harley Davidson, Suzuki, Triumph and Kawasaki are launching their super sports bikes in Indian Market.

Ducati thinks India has bigger potential than China in automobile arena. At present, the Indian superbike segment sees annual sales of around 1,000. Compare to Chinese market is limited to less than 100 units annually due to government restriction to sell smaller engine bikes.

Ducati bikes price around Rs 14-60 lakh & plans to sell over 150 bikes in India in 2010. Ducati hopes bike lovers will overlook the cost factor and buy this super products.
