Maruti Suzuki India recently launched the much improved version of its 2009 model in Indian market.The main addition is the new 1.6 VVT(Variable Valve Timing) engine.The 1600cc four cylinder petrol engine is capable of providing a max power 102bhp at 5500rpm with maximum torque of 154Nm at 4200rpm.

Additional features includes tall upright windscreen, massive wide-screen mirrors and the upright seating position of the passengers, new honeycomb grille finished in black matte shade, air dam, twin fog lamps and a two-slatted grille in the middle with chrome lipping and chrome Suzuki logo round-off the front side of New Maruti SX4.The car is well suitable for Indian road conditions with extended wheelbase, the short overhangs, the mildly cab-forward design, the raised ground clearance, the large glass area, the oversized tail-lamp cluster and the lower wedge in the A-pillar quarter glass.
There is no much changes as far as interior is concerned,minor changes includes new upholstery for seats and new gear lever in automatic variant,Wooden finish door mounted power window console.USB support for dash integrated music system is an optional for the car.In top-end ZXi varient there is an option for Leather seats.
The standard features includes dash integrated music system,automatic air-conditioning with attractive matt-silver dials and steering-wheel-mounted controls for the music system
